This year many of us can not travel home for Christmas. I made this EP as a gift to send home to my family in Sweden. My grandmother, Farmor Marianne, got to choose the last song "Nu tändas tusen juleljus" and it feels very special to have my sister Emily sing back vocals on the song we always sang on the last day of school before Christmas during our childhood in Sweden.
I hope this EP can revive memories of previous Christmases and be there when you create new ones. I hope you feel the love and laughter put into this album created with my dear friends and family in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The album is produced by Sakaris Emil Joensen and joining the recordings for instrumentation and back vocals were Emily Reise and Tom Hannay. A big thank you to Kim Wagenaar and Peer Agency for making this EP happen, Cheryl Kara, Nina Richter, Eva Þórsdóttir for all your support and Cat Gundry-Beck for the beautiful cover photo.
